This beautiful ceramic fermenting crock and red gum mallet are handmade by Andrew Cope on his family’s dairy farm in Beechworth Victoria.
Crocks regulate temperature very well which is an important consideration when fermenting during our hot summers. They allow you to prepare, ferment and serve from one vessel and this one looks particularly handsome on your kitchen bench.
2L ceramic crock: 28 cm high with a diameter of 17cm.
2 x crescent weights for weighing down your ferments.
Red gum mallet is 35cm in length - an excellent size for household batches of sauerkraut, kimchi and fermented pickles.
PLEASE NOTE: As these beautiful fermenting crocks are handmade with care, there will be up to 3 weeks between placing your order, and us receiving the stock to send out to you. Please keep this in mind when pre-ordering.
Shipping: Please note we can't ship to a PO Box address. Your shipping rate is calculated from weight of purchase and delivery location.
Postage: You will receive an automatic notification on purchase. Orders are then manually processed and couriered within working hours (Mon-Fri 9-5pm). Please allow 3-5 days for postage.
