This class is for anyone looking to start their preserving adventures. In this fun hands on workshop we are going to cover the fundamentals of food preservation at home. From jars, to seasonal fruit and vegetables, through to canning and storage.
We'll make an adaptable tangy pickle, a spiced chutney, and fruity jam, giving you hands on experience in three different preserving techniques.
We’ll discuss seasonal variations, how to swap in different spices, herbs, vinegars and sugars. Plus you’ll learn all the essential safety information and leave confident to start filling up your pantry.
