This month we focus on drawing attention to eating locally, sharing knowledge and strengthening our place in the community. We will be launching our free community talks for 2017, kicking off our local dinners in Marrickville and bringing our workshops to Annandale. Plus, we've got a delicious new menu that highlights our commitment to seasonal eating, reducing food waste and supporting small-scale local producers.
Since opening the doors in 2012, our trading program has played a huge part in building our own community. Limes, green mangoes or bunches and bunches of rosemary, our kitchens and picklers always find a way to make use of homegrown produce. We love meeting traders and having a chat and swapping their bounty in exchange for some pickles or a coffee. We've found it to be a great way to connect with the neighbours, the seasons and start conversations about preserving to reduce food waste. We would love to meet you and see what you've grown.
