Workshop FAQs

Please read the FAQs below, and email us at info@cornersmith.com.au if you have any further enquiries.

Where are the workshops held?

Our summer class schedule will be held at Bourke Street Bakery, Potts Point, at 46A Macleay Street, Potts Point. Enter via Cricks Ave, walk down the stairs into the cafe and walk through to the back.

Parking and Public Transport:

There are plenty of public transport options to get you there.
We are a 7 minute walk from Kings Cross Station.
You can take buses from Town Hall Station to Kings Cross
There is secure all day parking available here and Bayswater Parking Station.

What to bring:

We will provide you with everything that you need. In all our classes you will make things to take home, so it is a good idea to bring a carry bag to take everything home in. Please check your workshop page before your class to check if you are required to bring anything specific for your particular class.

What to wear:

We encourage you to bring a mask to wear in class, however it is not mandatory. We will have some spare if you don't have one on hand. Please wear closed toe flat shoes. We encourage you to bring your own apron if you have one, otherwise we will have a few spare on hand.

What to expect in a Cornersmith workshop:

All our workshops are relaxed and hands-on with a focus on home cooking skills. We keep our numbers small to maximise your experience, and engagement with the topic and the teacher. You will leave with the knowledge and confidence to continue your cooking adventures at home. You will be provided with refreshments and a light snack during the class.

Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when making your booking.

Cancellation policy:

To comply with COVID-19 regulations, please inform us BEFORE coming to a class if you have any flu-like symptoms so we can arrange an alternative date for your booking. Otherwise, we have a strict 14-day cancellation/transfer policy. Workshop bookings are non-refundable, but you are welcome to send someone in your place. Please ensure that you have read our cancellation policy

Redeeming gift vouchers:

Some of our gift vouchers are not redeemable online. If you have a gift voucher that doesn't work on the website and would like to book into a class, you will need to email info@cornersmith.com.au with your voucher number, your name, phone number and the name and date of the workshop you would like to attend.

Group bookings:
